What is So Much to Give?
With the support of Kathy Opperman and her non-profit, Pillars of Light and Love, So Much to Give was established in 2022 by Maureen Stanko, an educator and mother looking to create a brighter future for her son, Nicholas, and other adults with disabilities aging out of the school system. In less than two years, because of the volunteerism and financial support of thousands of people in our community, this small project resulted in the enhancement in the lives of many in the disability community through the opening of two groundbreaking entities that have since become beacons of acceptance and inclusion in Montgomery County, PA
Located in Cedars, just a stone’s throw from Skippack Village, the So Much to Give Inclusive Café provides meaningful, competitive employment for over 60 individuals with disclosed diagnosed disabilities. The So Much to Give Inspiration Studio in the same complex serves over 225 registered participants by providing classes in art, music, theatre, dance, and vocational skill-building as well as social opportunities such as Karaoke dance parties and community outings at the cafe.
